Webunitech provides WhatsApp Cloud API services as a tech provider to our clients. Our app (“WPM Handler”) integrates with Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API to enable business messaging.
We do not collect or store personal data directly from Facebook user profiles, as our service does not use Facebook Login. The data processed includes WhatsApp conversation details (such as phone numbers and message content) shared by end-users with our clients’ WhatsApp Business Accounts.
In compliance with Meta’s platform policies and data protection regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), if you wish to request deletion of your personal data related to interactions via our clients’ WhatsApp services:
- Contact the specific business (our client) you interacted with directly via WhatsApp. They manage their WhatsApp Business Account and can handle data deletion requests for conversations.
- If your request relates to data processed through our platform, please email us at info@webunitech.com with:
- Your phone number (in international format, e.g., +91-9588500864)
- The WhatsApp Business Number you messaged
- Details of your deletion request (e.g., delete all conversation history)
- We will process verifiable requests promptly (typically within 30 days) and confirm deletion. We may need to retain certain data if required by law.
You can also remove app permissions or data via your Facebook settings:
- Go to your Facebook Account Settings > Apps and Websites.
- Search for “WPM Handler” or related apps and select “Remove”.
